ಅವನು ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದಾಗ ರಾಜನೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯೂ ಬೆರ್ನಿಕೆಯೂ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿ ದ್ದವರೂ ಎದ್ದರು.

- 28ಆಗ ಅಗ್ರಿಪ್ಪನು ಪೌಲನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತನಾಗುವಂತೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಸುತ್ತೀ ಅಂದನು.
- 29ಆಗ ಪೌಲನು--ಈ ಬೇಡಿಗಳ ಹೊರತು ನೀನು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಈ ದಿವಸ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಚ್ಛೈಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
- 30ಅವನು ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದಾಗ ರಾಜನೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯೂ ಬೆರ್ನಿಕೆಯೂ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿ ದ್ದವರೂ ಎದ್ದರು.
- 31ಅವರು ಆಚೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ--ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮರಣದಂಡನೆಗಾಗಲೀ ಬೇಡಿಗಳಿ ಗಾಗಲೀ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಯಾವದನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ವೆಂದು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.ಆಗ ಅಗ್ರಿಪ್ಪನು ಫೆಸ್ತನಿಗೆ--ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಕೈಸರನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳದೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಇವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಬಹುದಾಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
- 32ಆಗ ಅಗ್ರಿಪ್ಪನು ಫೆಸ್ತನಿಗೆ--ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಕೈಸರನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳದೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಇವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಬಹುದಾಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
