ಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದ ಆ ಕುಂಟನು ಪೇತ್ರನನ್ನೂ ಯೋಹಾನ ನನ್ನೂ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾಗ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡಿ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಾಶ್ಚರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನದೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ದ್ವಾರಾಂಗಳದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿ ಬಂದರು.

- 12ಪೇತ್ರನು ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ಜನರೇ, ನೀವು ಯಾಕೆ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಪಡುತ್ತೀರಿ? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತೆಯಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ನಡೆಯು ವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆವೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾಕೆ ನೀವು ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಇಟ್ಟು ನೋಡುತ್ತೀರಿ?
- 13ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮ ಇಸಾಕ ಯಾಕೋಬರ ದೇವರು, ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರು, ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆ ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನೀವಾದರೋ ಆತನನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿರಿ; ಪಿಲಾತನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಿ ದಾಗ ನೀವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆದಿರಿ.
