ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಅನ್ನನೂ ಕಾಯಫನೂ ಯೋಹಾನನೂ ಅಲೆಕ್ಸಾಂದ್ರನೂ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದರು.

6ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಅನ್ನನೂ ಕಾಯಫನೂ ಯೋಹಾನನೂ ಅಲೆಕ್ಸಾಂದ್ರನೂ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದರು.
7ಇವರು ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರನ್ನು ಮಧ್ಯೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ--ನೀವು ಎಂಥಾ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಯಾವ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
8ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮಭರಿತನಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಜನರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರೇ,
