1. 20ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಕೊಂಡು ಈ ಜೀವ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
2. 21ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದವರಾಗಿ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ದೇವಾಲಯದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ಇತ್ತ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನೂ ಅವನ ಕೂಡ ಇದ್ದವರೂ ಬಂದು ಆಲೋಚನಾ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಶಾಸನ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರನ್ನು ಕರತರುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸೆರೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು
3. 22ಆದರೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಬಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣದೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ--
4. 23ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭದ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರು ಬಾಗಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವದನ್ನೂ ನಾವು ಕಂಡೆವು; ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತೆರೆದಾಗ ನಾವು ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಒಳಗೆ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
5. 24ಆಗ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನೂ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರೂ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಇದರಿಂದ ಏನು ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾದೀತು ಎಂದು ಅವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂದೇಹಪಟ್ಟರು.
