ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್‌ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಂದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಕುಮಾರರು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.

27ಆದರೆ ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವನು--ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದವರು ಯಾರು?
28ನಿನ್ನೆ ಆ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದೀಯೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ನೂಕಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
29ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್‌ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಂದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಕುಮಾರರು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
30ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ತುಂಬಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳ್ಳಿನ ಪೊದೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
31ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಆ ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು.
