ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಆ ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು.

29ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್‌ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಂದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಕುಮಾರರು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
30ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ತುಂಬಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳ್ಳಿನ ಪೊದೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
31ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಆ ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು.
32ಆಗ--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರು, ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ದೇವರು, ಇಸಾಕನ ದೇವರು, ಯಾಕೋಬನ ದೇವರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಕರ್ತನ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ಅವನಿಗಾಯಿತು. ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ನಡುಗುತ್ತಾ ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಧೈರ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ದವನಾದನು.
33ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾಲಿನ ಕೆರಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆ; ನೀನು ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಭೂಮಿ.
