1. 32ಅವನು ಓದುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬರಹದ ಭಾಗವು ಯಾವ ದಂದರೆ--ವಧ್ಯಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಡುವ ಕುರಿಯಂತೆ ಆತನು ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು; ಕುರಿಮರಿಯು ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಕತ್ತರಿಸು ವವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೌನವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿತೆರೆಯಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
2. 33ಆತನಿಗುಂಟಾದ ದೀನಾ ವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು. ಆತನ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವರು? ಆತನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಬಿಟ್ಟರಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂಬದೇ.
3. 34ಕಂಚುಕಿಯು--ಇದನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಯಾರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ? ತನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೋ? ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೋ? ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡನು.
4. 35ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ಅದೇ ಬರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಸಾರಿದನು.
5. 36ಅವರು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ನೀರಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಕಂಚುಕಿಯು--ಅಗೋ, ನೀರು; ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಏನು ಅಂದನು.
