2. 16ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ಶ್ರಮೆಯನ್ನನುಭವಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬದನ್ನು ನಾನೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
3. 17ಆಗ ಅನನೀಯನು ಹೊರಟು ಆ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು--ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಸೌಲನೇ, ನೀನು ಬಂದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣುಕಾಣುವಂತೆಯೂ ನೀನು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮಭರಿತನಾಗು ವಂತೆಯೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
4. 18ಆಗ ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಂದ ಪರೆಗಳಂತಿದ್ದವುಗಳು ಬಿದ್ದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
