ಸೌಲನು ಕರ್ತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳ ನ್ನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮಹಾ ಯಾಜಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ
And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
ಆ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲಿ ಇದ್ದವರು ಗಂಡಸರಾದರೂ ಸರಿಯೇ ಹೆಂಗಸರಾದರೂ ಸರಿಯೇ ತಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ತರುವಂತೆ ದಮಸ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆಯಾ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರ ದವರಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
ಅವನು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲು ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಪರಲೋಕದೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಬೆಳಕು ಅವನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಹೊಳೆಯಿತು.
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
ಆಗ ಅವನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದು--ಸೌಲನೇ, ಸೌಲನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ಹಿಂಸೆಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೀ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
ಅವನು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನಾರು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು--ನೀನು ಹಿಂಸೆಪಡಿಸುವ ಯೇಸುವೇ ನಾನು; ಮುಳ್ಳು ಗೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಒದೆಯುವದು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಷ್ಠವಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದನು.
And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: [it is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
ಆಗ ಅವನು ವಿಸ್ಮಯಗೊಂಡು ನಡು ಗುತ್ತಾ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೀನು ಕೋರುತ್ತೀ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನೆದ್ದು ಊರೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು, ನೀನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದದ್ದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord [said] unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೇಳಿ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣದೆ ಮೂಕರಂತೆ ನಿಂತರು.
And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
ಸೌಲನು ನೆಲದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದು ಕಣ್ಣು ತೆರೆದಾಗ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು ದಮಸ್ಕದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು;
And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought [him] into Damascus.
ಅವನು ಮೂರು ದಿವಸ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಾಣದೆ ಏನೂ ತಿನ್ನಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಏನೂ ಕುಡಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
ದಮಸ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನನೀಯನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶಿಷ್ಯನಿದ್ದನು; ಕರ್ತನು ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ--ಅನನೀಯನೇ ಎಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಲು ಅವನು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I [am here], Lord.
ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನೆದ್ದು ನೆಟ್ಟನೇಬೀದಿ ಎಂಬ ಬೀದಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಯೂದನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾರ್ಸದ ಸೌಲನೆಂಬವನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸು; ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
And the Lord [said] unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for [one] called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
ಅನನೀಯನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಒಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ತನಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಾಣುವಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಯಿಡುವದನ್ನು ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting [his] hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅನನೀಯನು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಿಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಕೇಡನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದನೆಂದು ಅವನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ;
Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರಿಂದ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಹೋಗು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅನ್ಯಜನರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೊರುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ಶ್ರಮೆಯನ್ನನುಭವಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬದನ್ನು ನಾನೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
ಆಗ ಅನನೀಯನು ಹೊರಟು ಆ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು--ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಸೌಲನೇ, ನೀನು ಬಂದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣುಕಾಣುವಂತೆಯೂ ನೀನು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮಭರಿತನಾಗು ವಂತೆಯೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, [even] Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
ಆಗ ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಂದ ಪರೆಗಳಂತಿದ್ದವುಗಳು ಬಿದ್ದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
ತರುವಾಯ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಿ ಬಲಹೊಂದಿದನು. ಅವನು ದಮಸ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೆಲವು ದಿವಸ ಇದ್ದನು.
And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
ಅವನು ಕೂಡಲೆ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಆತನೇ ದೇವಕುಮಾರನೆಂದು ಸಾರಿ ದನು.
And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
ಆದರೆ ಕೇಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬೆರಗಾಗಿ--ಈ ಹೆಸರು ಹೇಳುವವರನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಇವನೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ, ಅಂಥವರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದನಲ್ಲವೇ ಎಂದು ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
But all that heard [him] were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
ಆದರೆ ಸೌಲನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ ಈತನೇ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ನೆಂದು ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತಪಡಿಸಿ ದಮಸ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರನ್ನು ದಿಗ್ಭ್ರಮೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು.
But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
ಅನೇಕ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಹೋದಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೂ ದ್ಯರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.
And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:
ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕಿ ಕೊಂಡಿರುವದು ಸೌಲನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಬಂತು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಹಗಲಿರುಳೂ ದ್ವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು;
But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.
ಆಗ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಒಂದು ಹೆಡಿಗೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡ್ರಿಸಿ ಗೋಡೆಯಿಂದ ಇಳಿಸಿದರು.
Then the disciples took him by night, and let [him] down by the wall in a basket.
ಸೌಲನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಶಿಷ್ಯ ರೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಅವನನ್ನು ಶಿಷ್ಯನೆಂದು ನಂಬದೆ ಹೋದರು.
And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.
ಆದರೆ ಬಾರ್ನಬನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನು ಹೇಗೆ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕಂಡದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಆತನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ದ್ದನ್ನೂ ದಮಸ್ಕದೊಳಗೆ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದನು.
But Barnabas took him, and brought [him] to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.
ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಕೂಡ ಬರುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದನು.
And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.
ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಗ್ರೀಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ತರ್ಕಿಸುತ್ತಿ ದ್ದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.
ಇದು ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಬರಲು ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೈಸರೈಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತಾರ್ಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
[Which] when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Cæsarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.
ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಯೂದಾಯ ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಸಮಾ ರ್ಯ ಸೀಮೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸಭೆಗಳು ಭಕ್ತಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದಿದವು; ಕರ್ತನ ಭಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದ ಆದರಣೆ ಹೊಂದಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದವು.
Then had the churches rest throughout all Judæa and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
ಇದಾದಮೇಲೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯೂ ಸಂಚಾರಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಲುದ್ದದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಬಂದನು.
And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all [quarters], he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವ ವಾಯು ರೋಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಎಂಟು ವರುಷಗಳಿಂದ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದ ಐನೇಯನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.
And there he found a certain man named Æneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.
ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಐನೇಯನೇ, ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡು ತ್ತಾನೆ; ಎದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಸಿಕೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು; ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವನು ಎದ್ದನು.
And Peter said unto him, Æneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.
ಲುದ್ದ ದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಾರೋನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದವ ರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.
And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.
ಯೊಪ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿ ತಬಿಥಾ ಎಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶಿಷ್ಯಳಿದ್ದಳು; ಆ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ದೊರ್ಕ ಎಂದರ್ಥ. ಆಕೆಯು ಸತ್ಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ದಾನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು.
Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯು ರೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಸತ್ತಳು. ಆಕೆಯ ಶವವನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದು ಮೇಲಂತಸ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟರು.
And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid [ her] in an upper chamber.
ಯೊಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಲುದ್ದವು ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಕೇಳಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ತಡಮಾಡದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring [him] that he would not delay to come to them.
ಪೇತ್ರನು ಎದು ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋದನು. ಅವನು ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮೇಲಂತಸ್ತಿನ ಕೊಠಡಿಗೆ ಕರೆದು ಕೊಂಡುಹೋದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧವೆಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಅವನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು ದೊರ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಮೇಲಂಗಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಒಳಂಗಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೋರಿಸಿ
Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.
ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವರೆ ಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಮೊಣಕಾಲೂರಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಶವದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು--ತಬಿಥಾ, ಏಳು ಅಂದನು; ಆಕೆಯು ಕಣ್ಣು ತೆರೆದು ಪೇತ್ರನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಎದ್ದು ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡಳು.
But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning [him] to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
ಅವನು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಟ್ಟು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರನ್ನೂ ವಿಧವೆಯರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆದು ಜೀವಿತಳಾದ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
And he gave her [his] hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.
ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಯೂ ಯೊಪ್ಪದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದು ಅನೇಕರು ಕರ್ತನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು.ಆಮೇಲೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಯೊಪ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಮಕಾರನಾದ ಸೀಮೋನನೆಂಬವನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ದಿವಸಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಇದ್ದನು.
And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.
ಆಮೇಲೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಯೊಪ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಮಕಾರನಾದ ಸೀಮೋನನೆಂಬವನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ದಿವಸಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಇದ್ದನು.
And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.
