ಸೌಲನು ನೆಲದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದು ಕಣ್ಣು ತೆರೆದಾಗ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು ದಮಸ್ಕದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು;

Saulanu neladinda eddu kannu teredaaga yaarannoo kaanalilla. Aaga avaru avanannu kaihididu damaskadolakke karedu kondu hodaru;

King James Version (KJV): And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought [him] into Damascus.

6ಆಗ ಅವನು ವಿಸ್ಮಯಗೊಂಡು ನಡು ಗುತ್ತಾ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೀನು ಕೋರುತ್ತೀ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನೆದ್ದು ಊರೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು, ನೀನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದದ್ದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
7ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೇಳಿ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣದೆ ಮೂಕರಂತೆ ನಿಂತರು.
8ಸೌಲನು ನೆಲದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದು ಕಣ್ಣು ತೆರೆದಾಗ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು ದಮಸ್ಕದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು;
9ಅವನು ಮೂರು ದಿವಸ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಾಣದೆ ಏನೂ ತಿನ್ನಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಏನೂ ಕುಡಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
10ದಮಸ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನನೀಯನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶಿಷ್ಯನಿದ್ದನು; ಕರ್ತನು ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ--ಅನನೀಯನೇ ಎಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಲು ಅವನು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
