ಅವರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ಹೇಳಲಿ, ಆಗ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನಾವು ತಿಳಿಸುವೆವು ಅಂದರು.

- 6ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಕನ ಸನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರೆ, ದಾನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಹಳ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಪಡೆಯುವಿರಿ; ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಕನಸನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಅಭಿ ಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

- 8ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಅದು ಗತಿಸಿದ ವಿಷಯವೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಕಾಲಹರಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಿರೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಬಲ್ಲೆನು.
- 9ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಕನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ನಿರ್ಣಯ ಉಂಟು; ಕಾಲ ಬದಲಾಗುವ ವರೆಗೂ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವಿರಿ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕನಸನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ, ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಬಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಂದು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದನು.
