2. 8ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಅದು ಗತಿಸಿದ ವಿಷಯವೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಕಾಲಹರಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಿರೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಬಲ್ಲೆನು.
3. 9ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಕನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ನಿರ್ಣಯ ಉಂಟು; ಕಾಲ ಬದಲಾಗುವ ವರೆಗೂ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವಿರಿ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕನಸನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ, ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಬಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಂದು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದನು.
4. 10ಆಗ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಬಲ್ಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಭೂಲೋಕ ದಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಅರಸನಾದರೂ ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಭುವಾದರೂ ಯಾವ ಯಜಮಾನನಾದರೂ ಯಾವೊಬ್ಬ ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರನಲ್ಲೂ ಜೋತಿಷ್ಯನಲ್ಲೂ ಕಸ್ದೀಯನಲ್ಲೂ ಇಂಥ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
5. 11ಅರಸನು ಕೇಳುವ ಸಂಗತಿಯು ಅಪರೂಪವಾದದ್ದು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವರ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾಸಮಾಡದ ದೇವರುಗಳೇ ಹೊರತು ಇನ್ಯಾರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾರರು ಅಂದರು.
