ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳದೆಯೂ ಆರಾಧಿಸದೆಯೂ ಇರುವವ ನನ್ನು ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಆವಿಗೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕೆಂದೂ ಆಜ್ಞೆಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವೆಯಲ್ಲಾ!

- 11ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳದೆಯೂ ಆರಾಧಿಸದೆಯೂ ಇರುವವ ನನ್ನು ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಆವಿಗೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕೆಂದೂ ಆಜ್ಞೆಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವೆಯಲ್ಲಾ!
- 12ಈಗ ನೀನು ಬಾಬೆಲ್‌ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಕೆಲವರು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅಂದರೆ ಶದ್ರಕ್‌ ಮೇಷಕ್‌ ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ. ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ಈ ಮನು ಷ್ಯರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರು ಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯ ನ್ನಾದರೂ ಸೇವಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
- 13ಆಗ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಕೋಪವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿಯೂ ರೌದ್ರ ವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಶದ್ರಕ್‌ ಮೇಷಕ್‌ ಅಬೇದ್‌ ನೆಗೋರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ತರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕರೆ ತಂದರು.
