3. 12ಈಗ ನೀನು ಬಾಬೆಲ್‌ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಕೆಲವರು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅಂದರೆ ಶದ್ರಕ್‌ ಮೇಷಕ್‌ ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ. ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ಈ ಮನು ಷ್ಯರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರು ಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯ ನ್ನಾದರೂ ಸೇವಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
4. 13ಆಗ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಕೋಪವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿಯೂ ರೌದ್ರ ವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಶದ್ರಕ್‌ ಮೇಷಕ್‌ ಅಬೇದ್‌ ನೆಗೋರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ತರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕರೆ ತಂದರು.
5. 14ಆಗ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಶದ್ರಕ್‌ ಮೇಷಕ್‌ ಅಬೇದೆನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬ ವರೇ ನೀವು ಬೇಕೆಂದು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸದೆ ನಾನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಾ ಧಿಸದೆ ಇರಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವಿರೋ?
