ಆದರೆ ಜಿಂಕೆ ಕಡವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಣ್ಣುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಉಣ್ಣಬೇಕು. ಶುದ್ಧನೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧನೂ ಕೂಡ ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಲಿ.
Aadare jinke kadavegalannu unnuva haage adannu unnabeku. Shuddhanoo ashuddhanoo kooda ade reetiyalli adannu tinnali.

- 21ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಇಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆದುಕೊಂಡ ಸ್ಥಳವು ನಿನಗೆ ದೂರವಾದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪಶು ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಕೊಯ್ದು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದಷ್ಟು ಉಣ್ಣಬಹುದು.
- 22ಆದರೆ ಜಿಂಕೆ ಕಡವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಣ್ಣುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಉಣ್ಣಬೇಕು. ಶುದ್ಧನೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧನೂ ಕೂಡ ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಲಿ.
- 23ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ತಿನ್ನದ ಹಾಗೆ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ಯಾಗಿರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ರಕ್ತವು ಪ್ರಾಣವೇ, ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಂಸದ ಸಂಗಡ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಡ.
- 24ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನದೆ ನೀರಿನಂತೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಯ್ಯಬೇಕು.
