ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ತಿನ್ನದ ಹಾಗೆ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ಯಾಗಿರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ರಕ್ತವು ಪ್ರಾಣವೇ, ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಂಸದ ಸಂಗಡ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಡ.

- 22ಆದರೆ ಜಿಂಕೆ ಕಡವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಣ್ಣುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಉಣ್ಣಬೇಕು. ಶುದ್ಧನೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧನೂ ಕೂಡ ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಲಿ.
- 23ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ತಿನ್ನದ ಹಾಗೆ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ಯಾಗಿರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ರಕ್ತವು ಪ್ರಾಣವೇ, ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಂಸದ ಸಂಗಡ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಡ.
