ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ ಲೇವಿಯರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರ ಮುಂದಿರುವ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಿಂದ ತನಗೆ ಈ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಯನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

- 17ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವು ತೊಲಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನು ತನಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಪತ್ನಿಯರನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು; ಅವನು ತನಗೆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು.
- 18ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ ಲೇವಿಯರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರ ಮುಂದಿರುವ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಿಂದ ತನಗೆ ಈ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಯನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
- 19ಅದು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಬೇಕು; ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಈ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತು ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ಅನುಸರಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಲಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂಅವನ ಹೃದಯವು ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅವನು ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎಡಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಬಲಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ತೊಲಗದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅವನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಜೀವಿತದ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಓದಬೇಕು.
- 20ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವು ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅವನು ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎಡಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಬಲಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ತೊಲಗದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅವನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಜೀವಿತದ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಓದಬೇಕು.
