ಹತನಾದವನಿಗೆ ಸವಿಾಪವಾದ ಊರು ಯಾವದೋ ಆ ಊರಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡದಂಥ, ನೊಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಳೆದಂಥ, ಒಂದು ಕಡಸನ್ನು ತಮಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

- 2ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಹತವಾದವನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಅಳತೆಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
- 3ಹತನಾದವನಿಗೆ ಸವಿಾಪವಾದ ಊರು ಯಾವದೋ ಆ ಊರಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡದಂಥ, ನೊಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಳೆದಂಥ, ಒಂದು ಕಡಸನ್ನು ತಮಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
- 4ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ಊರಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಆ ಮಣಕವನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯ ಹರಿಯುವ ಹಳ್ಳದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬೇಸಾಯವಾಗದಂಥ, ಬೀಜಹಾಕದಂಥ, ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹಳ್ಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಣಕದ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಯಬೇಕು.
- 5ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಲೇವಿಯ ಕುಮಾರರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರು ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬರಬೇಕು; ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ತನಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವರ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿವಾದ ಗಳಿಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪೆಟ್ಟುಗಳಿಗೂ ತೀರ್ಪು ಆಗಬೇಕು.
