ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ಊರಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಆ ಮಣಕವನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯ ಹರಿಯುವ ಹಳ್ಳದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬೇಸಾಯವಾಗದಂಥ, ಬೀಜಹಾಕದಂಥ, ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹಳ್ಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಣಕದ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಯಬೇಕು.
Aa mele aa oorina hiriyaru aa manakavannu nitya hariyuva hallada balige besaayavaagadantha, beejahaakadantha, sthalakke takkondu hogi alli halladalli manakada kuttigeyannu koyyabeku.

- 5ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಲೇವಿಯ ಕುಮಾರರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರು ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬರಬೇಕು; ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ತನಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವರ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿವಾದ ಗಳಿಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪೆಟ್ಟುಗಳಿಗೂ ತೀರ್ಪು ಆಗಬೇಕು.
- 6ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಹತನಾದವನಿಗೆ ಸವಿಾಪವಾಗಿರುವ ಆ ಊರಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರೆಲ್ಲರು ಹಳ್ಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಯ್ದ ಮಣಕದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳಕೊಂಡು
