ನೀನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಸನಾಗಿದ್ದಿ ಎಂದೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದ ನೆಂದೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

- 19ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪೈರನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಯುವಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿವುಡನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು; ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದು ಪರನಿಗೂ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವನಿಗೂ ವಿಧವೆಗೂ ಇರಲಿ.
- 20ನಿನ್ನ ಇಪ್ಪೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಡಿದರೆ ಮಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಆರಿಸ ಬಾರದು. ಅದು ಪರನಿಗೂ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವನಿಗೂ ವಿಧ ವೆಗೂ ಇರಲಿ.
