ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಇರುವಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದ ತನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸುವ ಬಲವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವಾತನು ಆತನೇ.
Ninna deva raada kartanannu jnyaapakamaadikollabeku; ee hottu iruvante ninna pitrugalige pramaanamaadida tanna odambadikeyannu sthaapisuva haage aastiyannu sampaadisuva balavannu ninage koduvaatanu aatane.

- 17ನನ್ನ ಬಲವೇ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವೇ ನನಗೆ ಈ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿತೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ನೋಡಿಕೋ.
- 18ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಇರುವಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದ ತನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸುವ ಬಲವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವಾತನು ಆತನೇ.
- 19ನೀನು ಹೇಗಾದರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಾಶವಾಗುವಿರೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ಈಹೊತ್ತು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗದ ಕಾರಣ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀವು ನಾಶವಾಗುವಿರಿ.
- 20ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗದ ಕಾರಣ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀವು ನಾಶವಾಗುವಿರಿ.
