ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಿಂದ ಅವನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಂದನೋ ಅವನು ಬಂದ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗುವನು; ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಯಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

- 16ಇದೂ ಕೂಡ ವ್ಯಥೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವೇ. ಅದು ಯಾವ ದಂದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಂದನೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಹೋಗುವನು; ಗಾಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಸಪಟ್ಟ ವನಿಗೆ ಲಾಭವೇನಿದೆ?
- 17ತನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ವ್ಯಥೆಯೂ ಕ್ರೋಧವೂ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
