ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಔತಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅರಸನು ಮತ್ತೂ ಎಸ್ತೇರಳಿಗೆ--ರಾಣಿಯಾದ ಎಸ್ತೇರಳೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಬೇಡುವಿಕೆ ಏನು? ಅದು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡುವದು; ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆ ಏನು? ಅದು ನನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅರ್ಧದ ವರೆಗೆ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡುವದು ಅಂದನು.
Eradane dina draakshaarasada autanakke bandaaga arasanu mattoo esteralige--raaniyaada esterale, ninna beduvike enu? Adu ninage kodalpaduvadu; ninna vijnyaapane enu? Adu nanna raajyada ardhada varege iddaroo kodalpaduvadu andanu.

- 3ಆಗ ರಾಣಿಯಾದ ಎಸ್ತೇರಳು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟು--ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ದಯ ಹೊಂದಿದ ವಳಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಬೇಡುವಿಕೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವೂ ನನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನವೂ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿ.
- 4ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಜನವೂ ಸಂಹರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪ ಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾಶಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಮಾರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟೆವು. ನಾವು ದಾಸದಾಸಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾನು ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು; ಆದರೆ ವೈರಿ ಅರಸನ ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾರನು ಅಂದಳು.
