ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ರಾಣಿಯಾದ ಎಸ್ತೇರಳಿಗೆ--ಯೆಹೂ ದ್ಯರು ಶೂಷನಿನ ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಐನೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಯನ್ನೂ ಹಾಮಾನನ ಹತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂದು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಅರಸನ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನು? ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆ ಏನು? ಅದು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡುವದು. ಇನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬೇಡುವಿಕೆ ಏನು? ಅದು ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

- 12ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ರಾಣಿಯಾದ ಎಸ್ತೇರಳಿಗೆ--ಯೆಹೂ ದ್ಯರು ಶೂಷನಿನ ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಐನೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಯನ್ನೂ ಹಾಮಾನನ ಹತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂದು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಅರಸನ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನು? ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆ ಏನು? ಅದು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡುವದು. ಇನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬೇಡುವಿಕೆ ಏನು? ಅದು ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
- 13ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಸ್ತೇರಳು--ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಯಾದರೆ ಇಂದಿನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾಳಿನ ದಿವಸವೂ ಶೂಷನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಆಗಲಿ; ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಮಾನನ ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಗಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಅಂದಳು.
- 14ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಲು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಆ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯು ಶೂಷನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ಅವರು ಹಾಮಾನನ ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನೂ ಗಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
