ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಹುಳಿಹಿಟ್ಟು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಬಾರದು; ಹುಳಿಕಲಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಯಾರು ತಿನ್ನುವರೋ ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ಪರದೇಶದವನಾಗಲಿ ಸ್ವದೇಶದವ ನಾಗಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಸಭೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಬೇಕು.

- 17ನೀವು ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬ ವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಾ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೂ ಒಂದು ಶಾಸನವಾಗಿ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು.

- 20ಹುಳಿಕಲಸಿದ್ದು ಯಾವದೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿ ನೀವು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಿವಾಸ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನೇ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
