ಆತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದ ಕಾರಣ ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸ ಬೇಕಾದ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆ ಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸ ಬೇಕಾದ ರಾತ್ರಿಯು ಇದೇ.

- 44ಆದರೆ ಹಣಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಪ್ರತಿ ಯೊಬ್ಬನ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನು ನೀನು ಸುನ್ನತಿಮಾಡಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಹುದು.
