ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು--ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಈ ದಿನವು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ (ಆಹಾರ) ಸಿಕ್ಕುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
Aaga mosheyu--ee hottu adannu ootamaadiri, yaakandare ee dinavu kartana sabbat dinavaagide. Ee hottu nimage holadalli (aahaara) sikkuvadilla.

- 23ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು ಇದೇ--ನಾಳೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನವಾಗಿದೆ, ಇಂದೇ ಸುಡಬೇಕಾ ದದ್ದನ್ನು ಸುಡಿರಿ, ಬೇಯಿಸಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಬೇಯಿಸಿರಿ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
- 24ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅದನ್ನು ಮರು ದಿನದ ವರೆಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಅದು ನಾತಹಿಡಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳಗಳೂ ಇರ ಲಿಲ್ಲ.
- 25ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು--ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಈ ದಿನವು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ (ಆಹಾರ) ಸಿಕ್ಕುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
- 26ಆರು ದಿವಸ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನವಾಗಿರುವ ದರಿಂದ ಅಂದು (ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯು) ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
- 27ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಕೂಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ.
