1. 25ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು--ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಈ ದಿನವು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ (ಆಹಾರ) ಸಿಕ್ಕುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
2. 26ಆರು ದಿವಸ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನವಾಗಿರುವ ದರಿಂದ ಅಂದು (ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯು) ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
3. 27ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಕೂಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ.
4. 28ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ನನ್ನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸುವಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
5. 29ಅವನು--ನೋಡಿರಿ, ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಆರನೆಯ ದಿನ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲಿ, ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
