ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಭೆಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರ್ತನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರವರು ಹೊರ ಡುವ ಕ್ರಮದಂತೆ ಸೀನ್‌ ಅರಣ್ಯದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ರೆಫೀದೀಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

- 2ಆದಕಾರಣ ಜನರು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ವಿವಾದಮಾಡಿ--ನಮಗೆ ಕುಡಿ ಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರು ಕೊಡು ಅಂದಾಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಯಾಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವಿವಾದ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ? ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ ಅಂದನು.
- 3ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ದಾಹಗೊಂಡು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಗುಣು ಗುಟ್ಟಿ--ನಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದನಗಳನ್ನೂ ದಾಹದಿಂದ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾಕೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದಿ ಅಂದರು.
