ಜನರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಮೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಏರದಂತೆಯೂ ಅದರ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದಂತೆಯೂ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಾಗಿರ್ರಿ; ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಸಾಯ ಬೇಕು.

- 13ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಬಾರದು; ಮುಟ್ಟಿದ ಪಶುವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ನಿಶ್ಚಯ ವಾಗಿ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಈಟಿಯಿಂದ ತಿವಿಯಬೇಕು. ದೀರ್ಘವಾಗಿ ತುತೂರಿಯು ಊದುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.
- 14ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದಿಳಿದು ಜನರನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಿಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದು ಕೊಂಡರು.
