ಆದರೆ ನಿಮಗೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಮೊಳ ದೂರ ಇರಬೇಕು. ನೀವು ಹೋಗುವ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬರಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಎಂದಾದರೂ ಆ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಿರು ವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.

- 5ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಜನರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನಾಳೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವನು ಅಂದನು.
- 6ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಹಾದುಹೋಗಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಹೋದರು.
