4. 17ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಜನರನ್ನು ಪಾಳೆಯ ದೊಳಗಿಂದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು; ಆಗ ಅವರು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ನಿಂತು ಕೊಂಡರು.
5. 18ಕರ್ತನು ಅಗ್ನಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಳಿದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಗೆ ಹಾಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಹೊಗೆಯು ಆವಿಗೆಯ ಹೊಗೆ ಯಂತೆ ಏರಿ ಬರುತ್ತಾ ಇತ್ತು. ಬೆಟ್ಟವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕಂಪಿಸಿತು.
