ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಜನರನ್ನು ಪಾಳೆಯ ದೊಳಗಿಂದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು; ಆಗ ಅವರು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ನಿಂತು ಕೊಂಡರು.
Aaga mosheyu janarannu paaleya dolaginda devarannu sandhisuvadakke horage baramaadidanu; aaga avaru bettada kelage nintu kondaru.

- 17ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಜನರನ್ನು ಪಾಳೆಯ ದೊಳಗಿಂದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು; ಆಗ ಅವರು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ನಿಂತು ಕೊಂಡರು.
- 18ಕರ್ತನು ಅಗ್ನಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಳಿದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಗೆ ಹಾಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಹೊಗೆಯು ಆವಿಗೆಯ ಹೊಗೆ ಯಂತೆ ಏರಿ ಬರುತ್ತಾ ಇತ್ತು. ಬೆಟ್ಟವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕಂಪಿಸಿತು.
- 19ತುತೂರಿಯ ಶಬ್ದವು ಬರಬರುತ್ತಾ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತಿತ್ತು. ಮೋಶೆಯು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದಾಗ ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವರದಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
