ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ನೀನು ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆ; ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ನಾನು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
Kartanu moshege--neenu ee vaakyagalannu bare; ee vaakyagala prakaarave ninna sangadaloo israayelina sangadaloo naanu odambadikeyannu maadiddene andanu.

- 27ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ನೀನು ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆ; ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ನಾನು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
- 28ಮೋಶೆಯು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ಹಗಲು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ರಾತ್ರಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನದೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯದೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದನು. ಆತನು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳಾದ ಹತ್ತು ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಲಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರೆದನು.
- 29ಮೋಶೆಯು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಎರಡು ಹಲಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡು ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ದೇವರ ಸಂಗಡ (ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ) ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಮುಖವು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿ ಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
