1. 8ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ತ್ವರೆಪಟ್ಟು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೊಗ್ಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದನು.
2. 9ಅವನು--ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ದಯೆ ದೊರಕಿದ್ದಾದರೆ ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಲಿ ಅದು ಬಗ್ಗದ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಜನಾಂಗವೇ ಹೌದು. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೋಷವನ್ನೂ ಪಾಪವನ್ನೂ ಮನ್ನಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯವಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ ಅಂದನು.
3. 10ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಒಂದು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾವ ಜನಾಂಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಾಡ ದಿರುವಂಥ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ನೀನು ಯಾರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಿಯೋ ಆ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರು ಕರ್ತನ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವರು. ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಾಡುವಂಥದ್ದು ಭಯಂಕರ ವಾಗಿರುವದು.
4. 11ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವದನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸು; ಇಗೋ, ಅಮೋರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯ ರನ್ನೂ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಪೆರಿಜೀಯರನ್ನೂ ಹಿವ್ವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
5. 12ನೀನು ಹೋಗುವ ದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೋ. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉರುಲಾಗಿರುವದು.
