ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಅದನ್ನು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿಸಾಡು ಅಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಸಾಡಿದನು; ಆಗ ಅದು ಸರ್ಪ ವಾಯಿತು. ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಓಡಿಹೋದನು.

Kartanu avanige--adannu nelada mele bisaadu andaaga avanu adannu bisaadidanu; aaga adu sarpa vaayitu. Mosheyu allinda odihodanu.

1ಮೋಶೆಯು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಆದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಂಬುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು--ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವರು ಅಂದನು.
2ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವದೇನು ಅಂದದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು--ಕೋಲು ಅಂದನು.
3ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಅದನ್ನು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿಸಾಡು ಅಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಸಾಡಿದನು; ಆಗ ಅದು ಸರ್ಪ ವಾಯಿತು. ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಓಡಿಹೋದನು.
4ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ಅದರ ಬಾಲ ವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿ ಅಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅದು ಅವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಲಾಯಿತು.
5ಇದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮ್‌ ಇಸಾಕ್‌ ಯಾಕೋಬ್‌ ಇವರ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಅವರು ನಂಬುವರು ಅಂದನು.
