ಆಗ ಬಿಟ್ಟೀಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸುವವರೂ ಅಧಿ ಕಾರಿಗಳೂ ಹೊರಗೆಹೋಗಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ--ಫರೋಹನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹುಲ್ಲು ಕೊಡು ವದಿಲ್ಲ.

- 10ಆಗ ಬಿಟ್ಟೀಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸುವವರೂ ಅಧಿ ಕಾರಿಗಳೂ ಹೊರಗೆಹೋಗಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ--ಫರೋಹನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹುಲ್ಲು ಕೊಡು ವದಿಲ್ಲ.
- 11ನಿಮಗೆ ಹುಲ್ಲು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರಕುವದೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ನೀವೇ ಹೋಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸವು ಏನೂ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
- 12ಆಗ ಜನರು ಹುಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಕೂಳೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಚದರಿಹೋದರು.
