ಹೀಗೆ ಮಹಾ ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯೂ ಅಗ್ನಿಯಿಂದೊಡ ಗೂಡಿದ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯೂ ಸುರಿಯಿತು. ಐಗುಪ್ತವು ಜನಾಂಗವಾದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಇಂಥದ್ದು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

- 23ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕೋಲನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿ ದನು. ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಗುಡುಗುಗಳನ್ನು ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದನು. ಅಗ್ನಿಯು ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂತು. ಹೀಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದನು.
- 24ಹೀಗೆ ಮಹಾ ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯೂ ಅಗ್ನಿಯಿಂದೊಡ ಗೂಡಿದ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯೂ ಸುರಿಯಿತು. ಐಗುಪ್ತವು ಜನಾಂಗವಾದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಇಂಥದ್ದು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
- 25ಆ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿತು. ಹೊಲದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೊಪ್ಪನ್ನೂ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮುರಿದು ಹಾಕಿತು.
- 26ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇದ್ದ ಗೋಷೆನ್‌ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯು ಬೀಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
