ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಚಾಚುವೆನು; ಭೂಮಿಯು ಕರ್ತನದೇ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳು ವಂತೆ ಗುಡುಗುಗಳು ನಿಂತುಹೋಗುವವು. ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯು ಇನ್ನು ಬಾರದು.

- 27ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನು ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನರನ್ನು ಕರೇ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಈ ಸಾರಿ ನಾನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ. ಕರ್ತನು ನೀತಿವಂತನು, ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಜನರೂ ದುಷ್ಟರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
- 28ಆದದರಿಂದ (ಈಗ ಇದು ಸಾಕು.) ಇನ್ನು ಬಲವಾದ ಗುಡುಗುಗಳೂ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯೂ ನಿಂತುಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ನೀವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಇರದಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
- 29ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಚಾಚುವೆನು; ಭೂಮಿಯು ಕರ್ತನದೇ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳು ವಂತೆ ಗುಡುಗುಗಳು ನಿಂತುಹೋಗುವವು. ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯು ಇನ್ನು ಬಾರದು.
- 30ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರೂ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡು ವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು.
- 31ಈ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಜವೆಗೋದಿಗೆ ತೆನೆಗಳೂ ಸೆಣಬಿಗೆ ಮೊಗ್ಗೆಗಳೂ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಸೆಣಬೂ ಜವೆಗೋದಿಯೂ ಹಾಳಾದವು.
