ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿನ್ನದೆ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನ ದವರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತದೆ, ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸದೆ,
Parvatagala mele tinnade, israayelina manetana davara vigrahagala kadege tanna kannugalannu ettade, tanna nereyavana hendatiyannu kedisade,

- 16ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತೊಂದರೆಪಡಿಸದೆ, ಒತ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯದೆ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಹಿಂಸೆಯಿಂದ ಸುಲಿಗೆ ಮಾಡದೆ, ಹಸಿದವನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾದವನಿಗೆ ವಸ್ತ್ರ ವನ್ನು ಹೊದಿಸಿ,
- 17ಬಡವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಮಾಡದೆ, ಬಡ್ಡಿಯನ್ನೂ ಲಾಭವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ, ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ನಿಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದರೆ, ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಸಾಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕುವನು.
