2. 7ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಸಾಡಿ. ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಾನಾಗಿರು ವೆನು ಅಂದೆನು.
3. 8ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದರು; ನನಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಸಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿ, ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
4. 9ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಯಾರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೋ ನಾನು ಯಾರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯ ಪಡಿಸಿದೆನೋ? ಆ ಅನ್ಯ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಈ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು;
5. 10ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಕರತಂದು ಅರಣ್ಯದೊಳಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
