ಇದು ಒಂದು ಶೋಧನೆ; ಕತ್ತಿಯು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇ; ಕೋಲು ಸಹ ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರವಾದರೆ ಗತಿಯೇನು? ಅದು ಇನ್ನು ಆಗದು ಎಂದು ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
Idu ondu shodhane; kattiyu tiraskarisalpattidde; kolu saha tiraskaaravaadare gatiyenu? Adu innu aagadu endu devaraada kartanu heluttaane.

- 14ಆದದರಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪುತ್ರನೇ ನೀನು ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ತಟ್ಟಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸು; ಹತ ರಾದವರ ಕತ್ತಿಯು ಮೂರನೆಯ ಸಾರಿಯೂ ಎರಡ ರಷ್ಟು ಮಾಡಲಿ; ಅದು ತಮ್ಮ ರಹಸ್ಯ ಕೋಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಹಾ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದ ಕತ್ತಿಯೇ.
