ಆದರೂ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತರಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿರುವ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸುವೆನು.

12ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದವನ್ನು ಹಾಳಾದ ದೇಶಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಅದರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಕಾಡಾಗಿರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಹಾಳಾಗಿರುವವು; ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತರನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿಸಿ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು.
13ಆದರೂ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತರಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿರುವ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸುವೆನು.
14ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪತ್ರೋಸಿನ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಬರಮಾಡು ವೆನು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ರಾಜ್ಯದವರಾಗಿರುವರು.
15ಆ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಸಮಸ್ತ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ರಾಜ್ಯವೆನಿ ಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು; ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ತಾನು ದೊಡ್ಡದೆಂದು ಅದು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ತಲೆ ಎತ್ತದು; ಅದು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ದೊರೆತನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗ ದಂತೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕ್ಷೀಣಗತಿಗೆ ತರುವೆನು.
