ಅವುಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿತು; ಇಗೋ, ತೆರೆದಿರುವ ಆ ಕಣಿವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಣಗಿಹೋದ ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದವು.
Avugala suttaloo nannannu haaduhoguvante maaditu; igo, terediruva aa kaniveyalli onagihoda elubugalu lekkavilladashtu biddiddavu.

- 3ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು--ಮನಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಈ ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಜೀವಿಸುವವೇ ಎಂದಾಗ ನಾನು ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, ಓ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನೇ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವೆ ಎಂದೆನು.
- 4ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಈ ಎಲುಬುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು--ಓ ಒಣಗಿದ ಎಲುಬುಗಳೇ, ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ.
