ಆಗ ನಾವು ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಈ ಕಟ್ಟುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳೇನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.

- 2ಆಗ ಶೆಯಲ್ತಿಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆರುಬ್ಬಾಬೆಲನೂ ಯೋಚಾದಾಕನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಯೇಷೂವನೂ ಎದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರುವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ ದರು; ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕರಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದರು.
- 3ಆ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನದಿಯ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತತ್ತೆನೈನೆಂಬ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯೂ ಶೆತ ರ್ಬೋಜೆನೈಯೂ, ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರೂ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಈ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಈ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿತೀರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟವರು ಯಾರೆಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
- 4ಆಗ ನಾವು ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಈ ಕಟ್ಟುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳೇನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
- 5ಆದರೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಅವರು ಇವರನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇವರ ದೇವರ ಕಣ್ಣು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಆಗ ಇದನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಅವರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
