ಅರಸನ ಏಳನೇ ವರುಷದ ಐದನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇವನು ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು.

- 6ಈ ಎಜ್ರನು ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮೋಶೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನುರಿತ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಇವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೈ ಇದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅರಸನು ಇವನಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
- 7ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾಜಕರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಲೇವಿಯರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹಾಡುಗಾರರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೆತಿನಿ ಯರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೆಲವರು ಅರ್ತಷಸ್ತನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯು ಏಳನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು.

- 9ಇವನು ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನಿಂದ ಹೋಗುವು ದಕ್ಕೆ ಯತ್ನಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕೈ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಐದನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ಸೇರಿದನು.
- 10ಎಜ್ರನು ಕರ್ತನ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿ ಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೇಮನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದನು.
