ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ಬರುವ ಸಂತಾನಗಳೂ ತಲತಲಾಂತರ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

- 8ನಿನಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನಕ್ಕೂ ನೀನು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಅವರ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
- 9ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ಬರುವ ಸಂತಾನಗಳೂ ತಲತಲಾಂತರ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
- 10ನನಗೂ ನಿನಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನಕ್ಕೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳತಕ್ಕ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಏನಂದರೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗಂಡಸರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು.
- 11ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೊಗಲಿನ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಸುನ್ನತಿಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು; ಅದು ನನಗೂ ನಿಮಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಇರುವ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಗುರುತಾಗಿ ರುವದು.
