ದೂತರಿಬ್ಬರು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೊದೋಮ್‌ಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಲೋಟನು ಸೊದೋ ಮ್‌ನ ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತಿದ್ದನು. ಲೋಟನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಎದ್ದು ನೆಲದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬೊಗ್ಗಿ

2ಇಗೋ, ಪ್ರಭುಗಳೇ, ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಾಸನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಳೆಯಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಹೋಗಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು--ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ; ನಾವು ರಾತ್ರಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.
3ಅದಕ್ಕವನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದರು. ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಔತಣಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟನು. ಅವರು ಊಟಮಾಡಿದರು.
