1. 8ಇಗೋ, ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರು ನನಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೊರ ತರುವೆನು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದೆಂದು ಕಾಣುವಹಾಗೆ ನೀವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಏನೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
2. 9ಆದರೆ ಅವರು--ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ --ಇವನು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿ ಆಗಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಈಗ ನಿನಗೆ ಅವರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದರು. ಅವರು ಲೋಟನನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಇರುಕಿಸಿ ಬಾಗಲನ್ನು ಮುರಿಯಲು ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.
3. 10ಆಗ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು (ಲೋಟನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದವರು) ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಲೋಟನನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಎಳಕೊಂಡು ಬಾಗಲನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದರು.
4. 11ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕಿರಿಯರಿಂದ ಹಿರಿಯರ ವರೆಗೆ ಕುರುಡರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಬಾಗಲನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರದೆ ಬೇಸರಗೊಂಡರು.
5. 12ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಲೋಟನಿಗೆ--ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೋ? ಅಳಿಯಂದಿರನ್ನೂ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ.
