26ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನು--ಈ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಮಾಡಿದರೆಂದು ನಾನು ಅರಿಯೆನು; ನೀನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
27ಆಗ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಕುರಿಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಆಗ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
28ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಹಿಂಡಿನ ಏಳು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೇರೆಮಾಡಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು.
29ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಯಾಕೆ ಈ ಏಳು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೀ ಅಂದನು.
30ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನುನಾನೇ ಈ ಬಾವಿಯನ್ನು ತೊಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂಬದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಾಗಿ ಈ ಏಳು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.
